The communal lights on three blocks were off for all the evening. The Emergency Repairs Team was called on 18:15 and they promised to send someone within 3 hours.
The housing Repairs Team informed us that: "Jobs have been raised under reference numbers 1014213/1 (faulty lights in Curnock Estate) and 1014214/1 (faulty door entry system in Darfield) and both these jobs have been assigned to our contractors Lake house. The target date for completion of these jobs is on the 13th of August."
ORIGINAL STORY
An e-mail was sent to the Housing Repairs Team on Sunday 01st August 2010 because the following items need to be repaired:
The main entrance door which is located between Flats 21 and 3 in Goldthorpe does not close properly. In order for the door to close securely (and for the magnetic lock mechanism to work) you have to pull the door really firmly. Many people may not be aware that the door isn’t being closed securely behind them. Consequently this may lead to a breach in security for residents.
Danniel Day from the Housing Repairs Team informed us that the Gerda Lock replacement cost for the leaseholders is £916.00. That means that the Camden Council has spent £1,832.00 for the Pratt Street gate in 32 days!!!
19-03-2010 18:20 The Gerda lock was replaced and the gate was locked. This is in contradiction with Mr Thomas Brhane statement that it will take at least 3 weeks to have the replacement lock.
