Today the residents of Goldthorpe have started to experience the same problem with the cold water taps as before (May 2015). Instead of having cold water from the communal water tank the taps are producing boiling hot water.
Boiling hot water is coming out from all the taps in the bathrooms and toilets as well as the toilet cisterns.
On Monday 4th May 2015 the residents of Goldthorpe building were experiencing a problem with the secondary supply of cold water from the communal water tank. Instead of cold water there was boiling hot water in all taps and toilet cisterns. This problem lasted for three days.
Mr Patrick O'Neil, Head of Delivery Service, apologized for the poor initial response and informed us that M&E team will investigate the problem. The problem has apparently solved according to Mr Stow but not according to the repairs team.
