Meeting With Camden Council, Lakehouse and CustomTV

Today, 22nd July 2010, there was a meeting between the residents and Camden Council as well as their contractors (Lakehouse, Custom TV).

The Camden Council manager for the project, explained to the residents the procedure for installing the IRS system and she answered some questions.

Custom TV: Invalid E-mail Address & Non Working Website

The IRS contractor, Custom TV, does not have a working website and the e-mail that they provided us today is not working!!

We spoke to Gareth Chew (Capital Service Charges Officer) from the Camden Council who did not know who the contractor was. He promised to find out the contatc details for the contractor and let us know.

QUESTION 1

How many cables will be included in every socket?

According to the follwing website: http://www.aerialconcept.co.uk/communal/irs/

"If Sky Plus or Sky HD is required, then you will need 2 cables to each position." This means that for Sky Plus and Sky HD, we will need 2 cables per flat or dwelling.

ANSWER 1

Every socket will have 2 cables to the resident’s living room. This will enable the resident to received Sky + and HD if they subscribe to the service.

IRS Installation Started Without Answers to Residents Questions

The following letter was sent to the residents of the Curnock Estate. The letter is about the IRS Works that are ready to start even if the Camden Council has NOT answer the residents questions about the system.
