Section 20 Notices & The Bills for the Residents of Barnborough

The section 20 Notices that have been sent to the Barnborough residents can be found below as well as some other information. The information has been obtain under the Freedom Of information Act.

1. I would like to know if there are any Section 20 notices for the Barnborough residents (Curnock Estate)

Currently there are three live consultations that affect 1-22 Barnborough (B00043). All three contracts have been consulted under Schedule 3 of Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, as amended by Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act s151, with a Notice of Intention for qualifying works under an existing qualifying long term agreement. Copies of the actual notices can be provided if required. The dates that these notices were served are:

The estimated bill for 09/303 was sent out in March 2011, the average bills for 1-22 Barnborough were £6,832.68. Leaseholders were advised shortly after the estimated bills were sent that the overall contract costs had increased, and therefore the current estimated average contribution for 1-22 Barnborough is £8,216.14.

Final accounts are usually expected to be audited and sent out to leaseholders around 18 months after the estimated bills have been sent.

09/015 and R10/796 have not yet been billed to leaseholders. It is hoped that both will be billed with the final costs in autumn this year, if final costs are not available at that time then they will be billed with the estimated figures above and any relevant adjustments will be made once we have the final figures.

We hope that the information is useful to you.
