Noise From The Boiler Room (Jan 2014)

Boiler Noise The residents from the flats that are located above the boiler room are frequently disturbed from the pulsating noise that is coming from the equipment in that room.

Camden council has informed us that they are planning to fit an attenuator to the flue in early January and are working now to replace the plate heat exchanger (PHE).

2) What is the situation with the Keepmoat works on the boiler room? Is there an update?

3) Is one of the new boilers faulty and if yes when will you replace it?

Curnock Street Estate

15th January 2014

Dear Resident

Heating and Hot water shut down to your property on the Curnock Street Estate.
Unfortunately we need to

undertake a planned shutdown to the heating and hot water systems between the times of 9.00am to 5.00pm during the day of Tuesday 21st January 2014.

As a result you will find that your heating and hot water service will be turned off
during the times shown above.

This will not affect your cold water supply.

This disruption is because we need to make alterations to the flue system within the boiler house to enable us to try and reduce the noise levels from the flue.

If you turn your Hot Water Tap on during the shutdown period and no water comes out, please make sure you turn it back off, This will prevent any possible flooding caused by overflowing sinks and wash hand basins when the hot water is turned back on.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the heating works please contact the team on the numbers below

Scarlett Ward: Resident Liaison Officer on 07785 372204
Tony Bowcutt: Project Manager on 07825 106790.

Yours faithfully,
Scarlett Ward
