Dear Resident
Veronica Heming Resident Officer Flat 8 Trimdon
I am pleased to advise you that as of the 06.01.2012, Veronica will take up resident duties for your estate.
Emergencies
If you have an emergency issue and the office is closed, you should phone the emergency number 020 7974 4444, and they will assist you. If you require Veronica's assistance then you still call the above number, and they will then contact Veronica to assist you, but only if it is an emergency. Whilst you can knock on Veronica's door, if she is in, and it is an emergency, then she will assist. However, she could be out, away on holiday, unwell, or dealing with another emergency, which is why you should always phone the emergency number as they can then send someone else to assist if Veronica is not available. The type of emergency that Veronica will mostly deal with, are,
• helping to clear up after a flood / water damage to your property,
• removing broken glass
• temporary securing unauthorised areas
• displaying notices if there is a problem such as no power
• checking and assisting residents who are on the councils vulnerable residents list
• reporting fire, gas, or flooding and assist where possible
• shutting off water to individual flats, if water leak is affecting another flat
Veronica will also take part on a call out caretaking rota for other estates that do not have a resident caretaker.
Yours sincerely
Lucy Gbadebo
Estate Services Manager
